We are a dedicated cat rescue organization located in Russellville, Arkansas, serving the Arkansas River Valley and surrounding areas. At Candy’s Cats, our mission is to provide compassionate care, shelter, and second chances to cats in need. We are passionate about rescuing abandoned, stray, and at-risk felines, ensuring they receive the medical attention, love, and support they deserve.
Our Story
Candy’s Cats was founded out of a deep love for animals and a desire to make a difference in the lives of cats throughout our community. What started as a small effort to help a few strays has grown into a trusted rescue that has placed countless cats into loving forever homes.
What We Do
- Rescue & Rehabilitation: We take in cats from a variety of situations, including strays, shelters, and surrendered pets. Each cat receives proper veterinary care, including vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and any necessary medical treatment.
- Adoption Services: Our goal is to match every cat with the perfect family. Through our adoption program, we work to place our cats in safe, loving, and permanent homes.
- Community Support: We offer resources to our community, including guidance on cat care, assistance with TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) programs for feral cats, and educational initiatives to promote responsible pet ownership.

We envision a world where every cat is valued, cared for, and loved. With the help of our community and volunteers, we strive to reduce the number of homeless cats and improve the overall welfare of felines in the Arkansas River Valley.
